Server and Network Computer SupportMany of our customers prefer the “pay as you go” approach to procuring our IT computer and network services.  With a simple “Time and Materials Agreement,” we respond to customer calls for technical support and respond as necessary.  Sometimes we can solve (computer) problems by securely connecting to the customer’s network and performing diagnostics and administration across the Internet, however when the solution requires on site IT support, we respond depending on how severe the problem is.

 

Our goal for responding to a customer’s telephone call is 2 hours and to be on site within 4 hours when a computer or network is down and the problem requires onsite technical support.  For all of our employees and our customers, the priority of the day is a customer who is down. 

Fees for service are competitively priced and we charge a lesser fee for desktop or laptop computer support than we do for Servers and Networks, however a fixed cost maintenance agreement is available also. 

 

Temporary IT support customers can add some of the computer services we offer under our exclusive Uptime Service Agreement.  A popular service requested is server and network monitoring, which is an automated system that alerts us when a critical component of a network fails or starts to develop problems.  We find out about system and network problems often before the customer is even affected and can respond and fix the problem usually before any downtime is experienced. How's that for top level network support?

 

Have your own IT support person or staff?  Most technical support people with minor certification and limited experience are “maintenance level” skilled.  Their experience may not prepare them to design or size a business critical system.  Occasionally, problems are too complex given their training and experience.  That’s when you, as a business owner/operator need to provide back up for them by retaining a firm like Neteffects who can support or augment your staff’s abilities.

 

Customers who augment internal technical support with our consulting and technical support services typically employ us on a time and materials basis only.
